Stage one of this renovation included a remodel of the foyer, stairs, great room, and kitchen. All of the railings and flooring were restored. It was important to the client that the kitchen remained the center point in this home. The bakers rack with iron brackets and floating shelves can display all sentimental items which add to the charm. A beautiful 10 foot antique hutch from North Carolina was acquired and reinvented into a bar with wine and beverage fridge for entertaining. The real magic of this property was the bayside location and wetland views that make this home nostalgic and charming. Shiplapping the ceiling and adding batten board to the steps enhanced the charm created by the new kitchen design that matches the beauty of the view.
